Do Philips Anti-colic bottles work?
Top positive review. I like these bottles for the anti-colic properties and the fact that they do seem to reduce air bubbles. However, the nipple flow (even the newborn nipple flow) is much faster than our other Avent Natural bottles.
Do you have to wash baby bottles after every use?
How often should bottles be cleaned? Bottles should be cleaned after every feeding. If your baby does not finish drinking a bottle within 2 hours, throw away the unfinished formula.
How can you prevent colic?
Colic is thought to be due to swallowed air, so holding the baby in an upright position when feeding may help to reduce the amount of air swallowed. If the baby is bottle-fed, a fast-flow teat will help to reduce the amount of swallowed air by allowing milk to flow freely when the baby sucks the teat.
How long does colic usually last?
Colic is when a healthy baby cries for a very long time, for no obvious reason. It is most common during the first 6 weeks of life. It usually goes away on its own by age 3 to 4 months.
